Our Purpose:
To provide a forum and opportunities for individuals to explore the skills sets and knowledge district level administrators such as principals, assistant principals, curriculum directors, directors, and all levels of superintendents, should possess in order to make informed literacy decisions.

- Develop an understanding of the skill sets needed for elementary principals to assume the mantle of literacy leader.
- Increase awareness of elementary principals’ requisite knowledge of literacy content knowledge, knowledge of literacy best practice, and supervision skills.
- Improve knowledge of the crucial role and impact of literacy leadership.
